Nebraska is getting a snow day.

I like snow.

There is no snow here.

Instead of looking out your window and grumbling about the crappy weather if you're stuck in the snow...do me a favor. Think of how jealous my 7th graders and I are of you. Look past the slippery roads and falling thermometer and see the frosted trees and white-blanketed ground. Step outside and take a deep breath, one that hurts because it's so cold. That's a cool feeling.

Make a snowball and throw it for me. You can throw it at a tree or at the ground if you're not in the mood to toss it at another person.

If you're feeling extra adventurous, go make a snow angel or a snowman.

You're never too old to be happy just because of snow.
