sakit

That word means "sick." It also describes my current condition.

It's been coming on for a few days, but sometime between last night when I went to bed and this morning when I grudgingly woke up, I got slammed with a really annoying cold.

I should be excited; in four and a half hours we leave for the airport. However, a 12-hour flight followed by 10 hours of airport fun followed by another five-hour flight makes me want to forget the whole thing.

I want to go home, put on pajamas and sleep for about five days. For some reason, I think I'd also like to cry my face off for about an hour or so. I have no idea why, but it's just one of those days where I'm worried that I'll burst into tears at any second. Yaaaaaaaaaaay, me.

I'm sure once we get going, though, it'll be just fine. I've got my trip-appropriate They Might Be Giants song cued up on my iPod for the ride to the airport. (If you know which song I'm talking about, yay for you! Sing along!)

Sick or not, off we go!
