For public inspection
So some random customer advocate from Dell read that last post and wants to see if there's anything that can be done about the expensive paperweight that is our laptop. That's cool. Even if it isn't fixable, it's really nice of the company to do things like that.
I wonder what other companies check out strangers' blogs, patrolling for negative consumer reviews.
Hmm...
Gee! I am SO MAD at Mercedes-Benz, because the car I bought is broken! I will never buy from them again!
Also, I am quite upset with Manolo Blahnik because my 50 pairs of shoes ran away, just ran away! Now I have to go BAREFOOT. Alas! Whatever will become of my feet, which oh by the way are a size nine?
Hey, a girl can dream!
We had our clunky but semi-workable desktop fixed up to the point where we can use the internet on it at home, and I've been lent a temporary desktop for my room at school, so at least I can function there. Travis already had a desktop in his classroom, so it works out well enough if I want to check my e-mail or something, but for actual classroom use it's impossible. It's hard to do a PowerPoint presentation on Henry VIII when you have no computer! We're also checking out a laptop through our school's new Laptop Initiative program, which looks good.
Ideally, I'd love a fully loaded MacBook Pro. Ideally, I'd also like world peace, a machine to teleport me back and forth between here and home in a matter of seconds and for junk food to be the new health food.
I'm keeping an eye on that money tree in my back yard, just in case it blooms...
