Thanks, mom

The stuff you sent under the paper shreds--the vitamins and Christmas tree ornaments and American junk food--was of no interest to him so he let us have it.
The package arrived during 9th period English, and I couldn't open it fast enough to satisfy my 10th graders. A big box from America! The possibilities were endless! There could be, they figured, just about anything in there--maybe even some candy for them! They were less than pleased to learn there wasn't. They suggested eating the Little Debbie snacks you included for Travis and vowing secrecy ("He doesn't know they were even in there, Mrs. Erin-he doesn't have to know!") but I was a mean lady and said no. I offered them vitamins instead but I guess that's not an acceptable substitute. Kids these days.
