Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......
I am not a morning person. Ask anyone who knows me well. I just don't do mornings, but I still need to be at school every weekday at 6:45.
This morning I'm spending two hours babysitting a group of 12th graders who are taking a standardized test. Trying to stay awake is as impossible as, say, trying to convince one's self that Paris Hilton is really just a nice, misunderstood girl. I got to confiscate a kid's handphone (cell) so that was kind of fun. I'd do some schoolwork to keep myself occupied, but this is the last day before a week-long holiday, so I don't want to. No excuses. Just don't want to. Work, schmirk. Poop on productivity.
So...how unteacherly would it be for me to just curl up in the fetal position under my desk and sleep? Really, the tests are given by the government, and it's a well-known and widely accepted fact that scores are randomly assigned. So it wouldn't really matter, right? Darn work ethic and sense of responsibility. If only I were more like some of my coworkers.
