A Beautiful Day in the Neigborhood

So, I know those of you back home suffering through what sounds like a pretty crappy couple of days, weather-wise, won't want to hear this, but today was absolutely freaking gorgeous. When we got out of school, it was sunny, probably mid-70's, clear blue skies, low humidity and a nice breeze. It reminded me of late spring/early summer days back home. It made me think about the end of the school year, having a paper or something due, but realizing it was just too darn nice to spend the day inside. It was on days like this that after Erin came home from work, we'd take Charlie out on a walk. Now I know it might sound like I'm gloating or trying to rub it in, but not every day is like this here. Especially the humidity, especially during the rainy season. We were able to see all the mountains around us, which, due to pollution, is something that's probably happened a total of seven days since we've lived here. So it was nice. It was a welcome change to the usual hazy, humid days we have.
