Happiness is
...a surprise FedEx package of Cheetos and Wheat Thins (among other necessities from home) showing up at my door. THANKS, MOM!
...making a classroom full of 7th graders giggle wildly.
...realizing that even on days where I start to feel like I'm losing it, I'm still not as crazy as Paula Abdul.
...watching my cat freak out and chase invisible things through the house.
...cowboy pajama pants.
...having the (almost exact) same cowboy pajama pants as Jack on Will & Grace.
...season three of Scrubs on DVD.
...managing to go past one obscure Canadian holiday without my kooky coworker lecturing me on it for 10 minutes. (Said obscure holiday wasn't even mentioned, thereby meaning it must be really obscure. Either that or the kooky coworker didn't even know what day it was yesterday. Both scenarios are entirely possible.)
...grande non-fat vanilla lattes.
...having things work out OK in the end.
...the endless supply of Dave Matthews Band on my iPod.
...toast. Man, do I love toast. Yeah, toast!
...knowing the people I miss just happen to miss me, too.
...finally running out of ugly beige Post-it notes and getting to use the pretty colored ones.
...as Charles Schulz put it, a warm puppy.
...having a gazillion frequent flier miles and thinking of all the fascinating places I could go or things I could do with them.
...cute photos of friends' babies sent over e-mail.
...wasting 30 minutes blogging when I could've been grading vocabulary quizzes.

Bork, you suck. We get tomorrow off for the ascension of Christ, then have to come back for meetings Friday. THEN we still have a week of meetings to look forward to at the very end.
Eric: I will. One almost stole my bag at the mall last weekend. You watch out for bird flu. I heard you can get that from contact with chicken nuggets.
