One a them days

Here's how much of a grammar geek I am: it hurt a little just to type the title of this blog and leave it there. Such a nerd, I'm such a nerd.

It doesn't rain. It pours. Really.

It's getting to the end of the year, and I'm feeling like a frayed piece of rope. I'm coming unglued, I think. I think stress and fatigue are just snowballing and that has made these last few weeks seem like absolute crap. Little tiny things that would normally be minor annoyances if anything at all are just making me want to freak out and throw a chair across the room.

(Experience has taught me that freaking out and throwing classroom furniture won't get you in too much trouble with this school...not that I'm bitter. Oh wait, yes I am.)

Last night we went home to find that our phone line was completely out. No phone=no internet.

This morning I got chided AGAIN for not being a morning person. I should come with a disclaimer.

Attention!!! Erin is not a morning person. To acheive maximum pleasantness from Erin do not do either of the following things: 1) yell at her for not being a morning person at every given opportunity, or 2) pat her back in a creepy manner and say, "Smile! It's a BEAUTIFUL DAY! THINK POSITIVELY! MORNING IS WONDERFUL!" Be warned that if you do either of these things, Erin will justifiably want/try to respond by stapling your face to your ass. Thank you for your kind attention.

I could go on. I won't, though, because then you will be so sick of my whiny blogs (if you aren't already) that next time you see me you'll want to throw heavy objects at me. And that's not good. You could hurt your back. I'm thinking of taking a brief hiatus from blogging, just until I've gotten enough sleep and this crazy "end of the year" madness has slowed a little. Or at least until I've stopped wanting to staple people's faces to their asses, which you gotta admit-that's funny.

No, I won't complain anymore. Instead, I will leave you with this: a link to a very funny website.

See? Smile. :)
