Ick
Today I had my 10th grade drama class. In 10th grade (and actually now in grade 9 also) students can choose which arts class they want to take. This year, for whatever reason, I have an incredibly small class, only 6 kids. (Compare to the past two years where I've had close to 20)
There are four girls and two boys. The boys are both new to the school. One will join my class for the first time next week. So today there were 4 girls who've been at the school for some time and one new boy. This new young man is interesting to say the least. He is fond of interrupting and asking questions that really don't relate to anything. He also will randomly get up and wander around.
Today he was sitting with his shoes off. All the students in the room were. For some reason a lot of the kids have deemed the drama room a shoe-free zone. I'm not really sure how that happened as that's not the sort of thing I really condone. But they all wear socks, so it's not too bad.
This child wasn't. At one point while I was teaching, I look over to see him busily trimming his TOENAILS in class.
Yeah.
