The cherry on top of my crap sundae
We have no running water.
For the last month or so they've been turning off the water from about 9 p.m. to about 4 a.m. because we haven't really had any rain in months. Today it isn't on at all. We drove to school and took showers in the locker rooms of the gym. Ew.
This sucks.
Reason number 4,573 why I am kind of hating it here lately and wanting to come home NOW. Home=running water, no evil/incompetent HR trolls, no freaking pointless accreditation processes, no $4,000 36-hour plane rides just to see friends and family, no 12-hour time differences, no missing out on important events in friends' and family's lives.
