Spew into this...

In case news of erupting volcanoes in Indonesia is spreading in the U.S., we just wanted to post a disclaimer to say that the volcanoes near us are currently very pretty but boring. The troublesome volcanoes are about 600 miles away, so no worries. One is erupting, but it's in Sumatra (like basically every other horrible natural occurrence here is) so we're fine. The volcanoes around here might be considered active, but I'm not sure. At any rate, active does not equal spewing lava.

Currently the only natural disasters I'm facing are the toxic farts my lovely 11th grade boys are fond of dropping in my classroom. This is nice of them, as they are such fabulous individuals to begin with.
